The Hal Horton fun fly was awesome. The weather couldn't have been better,
and the company was pretty good too. :)

Thanks to Bob for the burger, Pat for the winch time, and to all for
indulging my rocket habit.

Woot!

Doug

One other thing. Don't forget the Hal Horton event this Saturday!

The folks at the General Store (the last store/restaurant/campground/etc.
before you come to the gravel road) are really, really nice to us. They
know who we are and are happy to see us. We also invited them to stop on
by. If you need any last minute items, be sure to stop in there and say hi.
They have ICE in bags too!

See you at Groeshel's this weekend.

I just got back from helping Armand do some maintenance on the mower out at
Groeshel's. The strip and pit area is freshly mowed (thanks mostly to
Armand) and ready for the weekend. When I left Palmer, I was expecting to do
nothing more than get the field ready because of the way the weather looked
(which wasn't good). But about 1:30 the sun came out and it got really nice
out there for the rest of the day. So after the grass was mowed I whipped
out my plane and flew. It ended up a beautiful afternoon. That place is
soooooo huge!

Your right Doug. It's so big and flat out there the clouds do look lower.

See you there,

Steve
