Hey Speed Racer!

It will be good to see ya. I'm looking forward to driving the 5 hrs out there too this season to fly with you guys. Thanks for being a doer for your club, and not a "What have you done for me lately? Well it's not good enough.". And to all who helped get the new PMA field online, a big thanks from me.
Are you going to be able to get out to Fairbanks for the W&W this year? Last year was huge out there. Great food, tons of great people, awesome field (but longer than a 10 minute drive), awesome water strip, great contests (Sat & Sun) and great food. I plan to go for at least 3 or 4 days this year. Mike (Badadada) Davis, Tom (I am Christophe) Risdal, Lynn and Bob (The Brisket-Maker) Alexander, and Marty Hall (just to name a few) have done a great job over the last few years with the W&W. Everyone should check it out at least once.

Steve

I have found that in this world there are leaders and followers, the guys that will roll up thier sleeves and get it done for the greater good, and the guys that whine and complain but ultimately end up enjoying what others have worked very hard to put in place. If you refuse to be a leader and wont step up to the plate to make sure every one in the club has the OPTION to fly at a nice field, why then would you try to block their hard work. I have been the one to dedicate alot of time, my own money and resources to assure a flying site for our club, and have yet to have one person tell me that they did not appriciate the efforts that were put forth for them to enjoy. If you refuse to "put up" a good option is to "shut up".

Just my $5.00 from the outside looking in...

To Armand, Tom, Steve and the "gang" I am looking forward to driving for 5 hrs to enjoy your hard work, keep it up!

        Leni

To the President and Treasurer and interested parties:

I note that the two aforementioned officers are quick to point out that no club funds have been expended so far on the latest acquisition of what is apparently now called Groeschel Field. Never the less, by your actions it appears that you assume that the silly democratic practice of discussion and voting will be nothing but a minor speed bump in your plans. All the announced plans for work parties and moving benches on the pretext of "it must be done anyway and right away" assumes a great deal in my humble opinion.

Oh. Never mind. I forgot somebody anonymously actually already paid the man for the first month and somebody else paid for insurance and oh yes we have free grass seed and, and, . . . . . .

Oh. We're good to go. The Top Dogs have got it all figured out. No discussion or vote required.

Press on, press on. Run right over any one in the club that might not think leasing another field next door to Wayne's World is not necessarily a good idea. Who needs their two cents worth in any event?

          Go. Go. Go. I say!

            Sweet!!

I've got it on the family calendar and will probably have the van and
both girls in tow. I could put some benches and whatnot in the van if
we need to. The girls are enthusiastic helpers - maybe not fast, but
            enthusiastic!

Is there anything I can bring out to help (besides tools)? Survey
paint? Grass seed? (at my own expense for those wondering)
