Thanks Armand and Mike .......it was a fun day.
I sure understand why my 1500lb. ramps were bending so bad. I found a plaque on the mower stating the test weight is 2364lbs. That little fatty is going on a diet. Got it cleaned up a little yesterday
so it will be nicer to work on.

Subject: [AlaskaRC] Thank you Fred Keller

Mike Allman and I just wanted to say thanks to Fred.

Fred volunteered to store it for the winter and give it whatever TLC it required to be ready for another summer of mowing.

Mike and I met Fred at Groeschel field this morning and put the lawnmower on Fred's trailer (a very nice trailer that is more used to hauling Model T's).

We then followed him to his house and helped him unload it and cover it up.

I am a little worried though. Fred does have a 'reputation' you know.

We are taking bets on how many ounces it will weigh by spring! Or should I say grams?!?!

  Thanks again Fred!

By the way, Mike and I were kicking ourselves when we realized how great the weather was at the field (and we didn't bring anything to fly)!!! Dead calm. No rain. Some blue sky even! It was calm enough that we could have even flown our 'indoor foamies'.

You definitely can't judge the what the weather is going to be doing out there based on Anchorage, Palmer, or Wasilla weather. Already looking forward to next summer (spring)!
