Mister Armand, it has come to my attention that the Base has a new policy on the flying field there. I've been told that anyone with a AMA membership, or any current Service member can fly there. All that is need is to apply for a base pass. You no longer need to be a ARCS member to fly there. I hope this helps. Ray

Just an update to those that have joined or renewed their memberships in the last few weeks:
I have been sending in updated membership lists to Elmendorf but just found out that they have rejected our updates (once again) due to a change in their requirements for formatting that they want changed before they will accept the list.
I will attempt (again) to comply and send in another copy of the list Wednesday (4/14/10) morning. If all goes well, they will accept the list and you should be able to get a base access pass by Thursday or Friday (hopefully).
If I weren’t an Air Force veteran I probably wouldn’t believe it – but – been there, seen that.
