Just a quick note to those of you who renewed your memberships last night (or joined as a new members).

Please do not try to go get your base pass until later this week (at the earliest).  It will take me until tonight to do the 'paperwork'.

Also, I don't want to send in updates more than once a week (unless it is an RC emergency), otherwise the base folks might try to devise a way to make it more difficult!

Bottom line, I plan to send in an updated list on Thursday which means that it will be posted at the gate by Friday (typically).

There will be Indoor flying at the Lumin Christi High School Gym on Sunday January 10, 2010 from noon till 4pm.
The Gym is located at 8110 Jewel Lake Road in Anchorage.

All AMA members are welcome. The cost is $10 per pilot. Spectators no charge.

AMA membership (for insurance purposes)
Aircraft under 16 ounces. Electric, rubber, or gravity powered only.
No outdoor shoes allowed on gym floor.

Hello everyone,

I have for sale an Aero works 35% Extra 260 Yellow/blue airplane.  This is the airframe only, no other gear goes with it.  It has been put together and flown, is in excellent shape with only minor hanger rash( some paint missing on the landing gear from being tied down)  I do have some wing bags that will go with it and the nuts and bolts to put it together at the flight line.
I am asking $500.00 for it.  Brand new they go for 1050.00 plus the shipping.  It has been setup for a DA 100 so all you would have to do is bolt one up. Also, all the linkages are in place so easy install of servos and setup.

You can buy extensions for the balance connectors on your batteries which makes it a lot easier to charge them in a lipo sack or firebox.
Basically it has a male connector on one end, a female on the other, and about 12" of wire.  They come in different flavors depending on brand and number of cells of battery.

I ordered four of them and the shipping was $6.95.

Lumen Christi: Cleared for Immediate Take Off!  This week's theme,  Biplanes!!!!

There will be Indoor flying at the Lumin Christi High School Gym on Sunday Jan 31, 2010 from noon till 4pm.

The Gym is located at 8110 Jewel Lake Road in Anchorage.

All AMA members are welcome. The cost is $10 per pilot. (100 % of proceeds goes to the church, owner of the facility). Spectators no charge.



The rules are: 


AMA membership (for insurance purposes)
Aircraft under 16 ounces. Electric, rubber, or gravity powered only.
No outdoor shoes allowed on gym floor. 
Sponsored by ARCS. Facilitated by Bob Stephens (440-0478). 

ALL AMA members and spectators are welcome.
