[AlaskaRC] Low flying...best fly-by's

One story has that Blue's driver on his last flight for the Blues and
busting out boat windows. The Navy's been playing games on S.F. Bay for
years, until they moved out. I guess he was making for lost time.

 

I knew someone who was station at Hamilton AFB in Marin Co. during WWII and
shortly after. On a regular basis the Navy would launch out of NAS Alameda
and bounce Hamilton. There'd be dog fights and tail chases all over Suisun
Bay (the north end of S.F. Bay) once the AAF finally got their planes in the
air. On occasion the Army would return the favor but it was harder to do
with the bridge and the surrounding cities in the way. Had to have been fun
to fly in and watch.
