> short update on Joe Ostrom.
> Joe is fighting a lot of gas which is impeding his breathing and appetite. The only answer to that is getting him moving so we have really been persistent in getting him up in his chair and planning his trips down the hallways despite his resisting excuses! I'm now being called "Sarge" as I am timing the periods between his getting up! The doctor moved him to a general diet today so he could have his pick of anything that would get him to eat. Despite his 16 in. incision, his pain is being well controlled.

> Now we just have to wait for the pathology report to come back on Wednesday so that Dr. Lin can decide how to handle his treatment from here. Hopefully, if Joe's strength returns enough for me to handle him at home, we can come home on Friday or at least the weekend. Thanks again for all of your responses and prayers.
