[AlaskaRC] Lake Party!

I never said the 802's went non-stop but what a lonely trip that would be. I've flown the route in Herc's and Connie's, and even with people to talk to, it got to be a long trip. But, seeing The Emerald of the Sea kind'a made it worthwhile.... some times.

Go Niners!

Okay...say we got a waiver for an over-gross condition. The plane could hold about
5,500 pounds of fuel...TOTAL. That would give me about 16 hours of flying time if I kept the fuel flow below 350 pounds per hour. Getting to Hawaii is no sweat but after that... Probably only be short of the California shore about 77 miles. No problem! Coast Guard + rope = tow to land.

Be too late for anything but Steve's hot dogs in the past than stale condition.

Now if I flew the plane to Hong Kong, across the middle east, up through Europe, Iceland, Greenland, Goose Bay, Detroit, Missoula, and then to Steve's party, I could enjoy a refreshing potable by March Madness! And I wouldn't need to use an aux tank.

Thanks for the idea, Marty!
