Hello All,
Just a reminder that this Saturday, July 13th, is the State Scale
Competition.  This is a POY event.The heat wave is past us so let's get out
and fly and have fun.
Anyone with a powered RC model can enter.  We will be having four divisions
which consist of FUN Scale, Open Scale, Sport Scale and Expert Scale.
In Fun you may enter any type of RC powered model.  If you have a photo or
a photo on your phone of the full scale aircraft you get 5 extra points on
the first round.
No photo or the model is not of a full scale plane, no problem, you can
still fly and score.  You just do not get the 5 bonus points.  Open Scale
and Sport and Expert
Scale will require the models to be static judged prior to the flying
portion for that event.  You as the pilot may enter in more than one class,
however you must have
a different plane for each class.  All entries are $10 each.  Remember
there are 5 mandatory maneuvers to be flown, Take Off, Fly Past, Figure 8,
Landing and Realism
of flight.  Also you must add any five other maneuvers that you desire for
a total of 10 maneuvers. Spins, rolls, wing overs, etc you name it.
Come out and support your club.  Some food will be provided a the grill is
available if you want to cook your own.
