Hello All,

 

I would like to invite you, and your respective clubs to our 55th Anniversary Celebration.  It will be next weekend.  We will have things happening on the 17th, 18th, and 19th.  The Sunday (the 19th) will be Local Club Day.  We will have use of the former REI parking lot, so space will not be an issue!  Setup will start at 11am, and tear down will be at 5pm.  We will have some tents and tables, but it might be good to bring one just in case.  We don't have many chairs, so that is recommended.  The plastics and trains will be in the shop, and the RCs and rockets will be outside.  Trains and models are welcome to be outside if you wish.  It would be fantastic to see a large gathering of all the local modeling clubs in one space, and we really hope you and your members will attend.  Please bring some models to show off, and some information about your clubs to share with the public.  We will have some drinks and snacks as well.

 

For those of you that are interested, on Friday the 17th, we will be hosting an all models swap meet.  That will also utilize the REI parking lot.  Again tent and table space are limited, but you may bring your own.  Participation is free.

 

Saturday will involve demos and some RC racing and Pinewood Derby!  Also all free!  Naturally we will also be running an Anniversary Sale during all of this.
