> ARE YOU ATTENDING ANCHORAGE HOBBY FEST?
>
> On Saturday, May 20th the Anchorage Hobby Community will be taking over The Dome with R/C and modeling fun! Entrance is free and all are welcome! When you arrive, you will receive a wristband and map. These will be your passports to FUN! The map will show what is happening, and where. Head to the Try Me Track Zone and get your hands on one of our Arrma Granite demo cars, and vote for your favorite entry in the RC Show and Shine! In the Crawling Zone you can watch the folks from Crawl AK maneuver their RC Rock Crawlers through a series of obstacles, and play with some of our Axial SCX24 demos, too! In the RC Racing Zone watch an exhibition put on by the AROARA RC Car club and get the chance to try your hand at driving around a racetrack in between rounds. The RC Planes Zone is where you can watch cool demonstrations from the members of the Alaska Radio Control Society, the Frontier Fun Flyers, and the Alaska Drone Racing League! There will be limited opportunities for hands on demo with our HobbyZone Sport Cub’s, after some ground school instruction from one of the club instructors. Keep your head on a swivel in the Free For Fun Zone! This is where you will get to throw your Rage RC Glider and Anchorage Hobby Fest Aeroprop and jump on a Stomp Rocket! There will be some glider competitions and skills tests in this Zone of controlled chaos! Head over to the Rockets Zone to see the impressive models built by the Alaska Northstars and meet the AlasKiters kite club! At the Train Zone you can make a model train go with the hands-on demos put on by the Military Society of Model Railroad Engineers and the Northern Light Model Railroad clubs! Next up is the Model Zone, where you can meet and greet with the Alaska IPMS Chapter and the Hanger49 GunPla club. There will be several categories of plastic models for you to cast votes on and get inspired by! Then there is the Drift Zone where the Midnight Sons RC Drift Crew will show off the fun of RC drift cars! And you can try your hand with one of our hands-on demos, too! In the Pinewood Zone the Alaska Council Boy Scouts of America will be holding the Alaska State Championship Pinewood Derby Races! And finally we have the Swap Meet Zone, where you are welcome to buy/sell/trade in this peer-to-peer all-model-hobbies market.
>
> When you visit these Zones you will want to get your Passport Map stamped with a unique Anchorage House of Hobbies stamp! When your Passport is full, put your contact info on it and drop it into the prize box near the entrance. You will receive an Anchorage Hobby Fest shirt and a chance to win some sweet prizes! Be sure to visit the excellent food trucks that will be outside ready to feed you and your crew! No food or drink is allowed inside the Dome except in the designated eating area to the left of the Entrance. Water is the only thing allowed on the track or the field.
>
> This event is a celebration of the Anchorage House of Hobbies’ 59thAnniversary and the amazing hobby community of Alaska! We have been Sharing Fun With Our Community For Generations, and we are here to continue that tradition! Whether your hobby is planes, trains, or automobiles (or other) join us for this incredibly fun day, and bring a friend or three!

> The best of the best scale comp crawler kits.
> More than the brand of choice for weekend adventurers, Axial also delivers at the most demanding levels of competition. With the 1/10 scale SCX10 Pro 4WD, Axial answers the call for an innovative, easy-to-build scale crawler kit that fuels the competitive spirit with top-level performance on the trails. Every component designed for the Pro kit helps you win comps by taking and conquering tough lines.
> Whether your aim is to compete or you just want to drive the best of the best, the SCX10 Pro 4WD is the kit for you. The Pro crawler arrives thoughtfully engineered to deliver the highest level of performance — steadily following your chosen course over sidehills and steep rock climbs while supplying the confidence that can only come from knowing there's almost nothing your rig can't do.
> While leading in innovation, the Pro is also the easiest, most convenient and cost-effective way to build a comp-ready scale crawler. There's no guesswork, and no searching among multiple manufacturers to piece together the best chassis, transmission, drive shafts, axles, shocks, and more. Just add your favorite electronics, body, tires, and wheels to the SCX10 Pro 4WD kit, which has already proven its worth by winning and placing at the Little Rock City Scale Nationals, Clash of the Four Cardinals, SuperShafty Fall Crawl, and other events.
> The lightweight, highly adjustable Pro chassis is a comp-specific design that's optimized for climbing, side hilling, and break over. The multi-piece axles are built with steel tubes and can accommodate a chassis-mounted (CMS) or axle-mounted (AMS) servo. The motor mount positions the motor low and forward in the chassis for improved weight distribution. It also allows you to underdrive the rear axle via servo or to manually lock the rear axle in 1:1 or underdrive.
> For the best of the best RC scale crawler kits — with the highest level of performance engineering already included, for the lowest overall comp-ready cost — choose the SCX10 Pro 4WD. With Axial, the advantage is yours.
