<div><font size="2" face="Arial">My only question is why is Paul still on the
mailing list when he was voted off the last one? Also, why do we have to
still put up with his constant abuse? Im tired of getting this kind of
maill all the time. If you dont have anything to say that is constructive,
or model related, please keep it to yourself. The rest of us want to move
on and enjoy our hobby. The new field is for anyone, those who still
want to fly rc, come out and enjoy a new field and get back to what this hobby
is all about, flying. Keep your petty squabling to yourself. some of
our members have stepped up to help the rest of us to a new place to fly,
to those involved I thank you very much. You are the people that make this
hobby worth being in. Only a few have come together to try and make it
better for the rest. Yes it is a longer drive, but it has been timed to
about 1 hour 20 mins. If you look at some of the other clubs in the lower
48, they also have to drive long distance to enjoy what they like doing.
Get on some of the Rc forums and look around. They all face the same thing
we have, and most of them dont care. Why? Because they love what
they do and the people they do it with. I haven't been in this club for
very long. But i've been here long enough to see that a lot of people just dont
fly anymore. Part of that problem is the fact our only field is on
EAFB. I too would like to see something closer, better. But this is
what we have for now that will work for everyone with a little
effort. If you dont like the drive, or how this is being handled,
fine. But your negitive attitude is bringing everyone down and running
people off. This club needs some growth or its going to die and then where
will any of us be then. </font></div>

<div>To the President and Treasurer and interested parties:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I note that the two aforementioned officers are quick to point out that
no club funds have been expended so far on the latest acquisition of what is
apparently now called Groeschel Field. Never the less, by your actions
it appears that you assume that the silly democratic practice of discussion
and voting will be nothing but a minor speed bump in your plans.
All the announced plans for work parties and moving benches on the pretext
of "it must be done anyway and right away" assumes a great deal in my humble
opinion.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Oh. Never mind. I forgot somebody anonymously actually
already paid the man for the first month and somebody else paid for
insurance and oh yes we have free grass seed and, and, . . . . . .
</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Oh. We're good to go. The Top Dogs have got it all figured
out. No discussion or vote required.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Press on, press on. Run right over any one in the club that might
not think leasing another field next door to Wayne's World is not
necessarily a good idea. Who needs their two cents worth in any
event?</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Go. Go. Go. I say!</div>
